Art & Design
Drawing is something I have always enjoyed doing from a young age and is something I still like to do now. When at University, I got to create a lot of art but over time felt that I wanted to become more than a freelance Illustrator. I thought I could pursue a different route that still incorporate my drawings, but other creative elements too. I was still fascinated with Photoshop so wanted to explore careers invovling this.
I love creating art such as realistic portraiture and people derived from a cartoonist style. I still enjoy creating private commissions for friends & family and making art for myself. I am currently designing pages for a children's story book: Bumb the Bumblebee where we hope to make a mini book series.

My speciality is drawing something and taking it that step further on photoshop to provide that cleaner finish to it. I believe it's why I enjoy spending hours on the program as I can do so much to transform the digital canvas. It helps me develop my practise on the program and combine my two strong interests.

Usually, I carry around a Moleskine notebook with me to doodle and make notes from. It's something I've adopted into my photography work before and during a photoshoot. There's always enough time in the day to break away and spend 10 mins or so to sketch to create something weird but wonderful. Eventually, I want to explore both elements of drawn objects and photography and see the outcome from that.

Below are a few of my traditional and digital art I've done over the past year.
